Teeth whitening in Denver.
Professional whitening for the shade you have, the smile you want, and the comfort you need. Settle into a massage lounge chair for a considered visit with clear expectations from the start.
When booking, choose “Whitening - Shine.”

Illustrative smile, not a treatment result. Whitening results vary.
Choose a brighter smile without guessing.
Most people do not need a lecture about coffee, red wine, or the passing years. They want to know whether professional whitening fits their smile, their plans, and their comfort. At The Hygienist Bar, that conversation starts with your starting shade and what you would like to change. A whitening visit is cosmetic, personal, and never a measure of how healthy or worthy your smile is.
Our Cherry Creek studio is built for a calmer kind of oral care. You can ask questions before treatment begins, share what has or has not worked for you before, and speak up at any point. The goal is not to promise a particular number of shades. It is to give you a defined appointment, thoughtful guidance, and a realistic path toward a brighter natural smile.
Professional whitening in Cherry Creek.
Signature Whitening is our first studio whitening appointment. The 90-minute visit is $444 and includes a shade assessment with up to four 16-minute gel applications. You relax in a massage lounge chair while the team follows the plan for your teeth and your comfort. “Up to” matters: not everyone needs the same number of applications, and treatment should not be rushed simply to reach a maximum.
Before you book, think about the change you want to see and anything you want the team to know. That could include past whitening, tooth sensitivity, upcoming photographs or events, or dental work that shows when you smile. Small details help make the conversation more useful than a generic before-and-after promise.
Book Signature WhiteningKnow what whitening can and cannot change.
Whitening and cleaning have different jobs. A professional cleaning removes buildup and surface stain. Peroxide-based whitening changes the color of natural teeth by breaking down colored compounds within them. Both can make a smile look fresher, but they are not interchangeable services.
Natural teeth respond differently depending on the starting shade and the source of discoloration. Crowns, veneers, and tooth-colored fillings do not whiten in the same way as natural teeth. If a new color change affects one tooth, or if something feels painful or unusual, start with a dental assessment instead of treating whitening as a way to investigate the cause.
These limits are not a reason to avoid the conversation. They are the reason to have an honest one. You deserve to understand what an appointment is designed to do before you decide whether it is the right next step.
Make room for sensitivity.
Whitening can cause temporary sensitivity or gum irritation. Peroxide can temporarily irritate the nerve inside a tooth, which may feel like a brief sharp sensation or increased sensitivity to cold. Gel that contacts the gums can also be uncomfortable. Tell us what you have felt before, what tends to trigger sensitivity, and whether it has changed recently.
Discomfort is useful information. The team can pause and reassess rather than treating discomfort as something you should simply tolerate. Severe, lingering, or one-tooth pain deserves dental assessment. Whitening should never replace attention to a concern that needs a different kind of care.
Pair your shade goal with the care you need.
If you want a thorough cleaning and whitening in the same visit, the Cleaning & Whitening Combo combines the Oral Reset with Signature Whitening. The 190-minute appointment is $544, a $122 saving compared with booking both separately. It includes the Oral Reset cleaning, gum-health check, microscope observation, take-home care plan, and personalized whitening.
A cosmetic goal and preventive care can belong in the same plan, but they are still different conversations. The Oral Reset focuses on professional cleaning, assessment, and practical guidance for your mouth. Whitening focuses on a shade goal. Combining them can be convenient, while keeping the purpose of each service clear.
For returning Signature Whitening guests.
Touch-Up Whitening is for guests who have already had Signature Whitening at The Hygienist Bar. It is a 45-minute appointment priced at $225, with two 16-minute applications. It is not a lower-priced substitute for a first whitening appointment. If you are new to our whitening service, start by asking about Signature Whitening and share any whitening history you have elsewhere.
A touch-up is not an automatic calendar obligation. Staining habits, starting shade, comfort, and your own goals all matter. Talk through what has changed since your earlier visit and whether another appointment makes sense now.
Plan your Denver whitening visit.
The Hygienist Bar is at 255 Detroit St Unit 200 in Cherry Creek, Denver. Free parking is available, and the studio is open daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. If you are preparing for a wedding, interview, trip, or photo session, bring the date into the conversation early. A whitening appointment can fit into one visit, but that does not mean the day before an event is always the best time to schedule it.
Aftercare matters, too. Whitening is not permanent, and the shade can gradually change with staining habits and age. Follow your aftercare instructions, continue your daily home care, and use whitening products only as directed. More frequent whitening is not automatically better.
Frequently asked questions.
What does Signature Whitening include?
Signature Whitening is a 90-minute visit priced at $444. It includes a shade assessment and up to four 16-minute gel applications. The number of applications and the change in shade are shaped by your starting point and your comfort during the visit.
Is whitening the same as a cleaning?
No. A cleaning removes buildup and surface stain while whitening changes the color of natural teeth. If you would like both, the Cleaning & Whitening Combo brings the Oral Reset and Signature Whitening together in one 190-minute visit for $544.
Can crowns, veneers, or fillings be whitened?
Whitening changes the color of natural teeth. Crowns, veneers, and tooth-colored fillings do not lighten in the same way, so visible dental work may look different afterward. Share any questions about existing dental work before your visit.
What if my teeth are sensitive?
Let the team know about existing sensitivity and any previous whitening experience. Temporary sensitivity or gum irritation can happen with peroxide-based whitening, so discomfort is a reason to pause and reassess, not to push through.
